A press conference was recently held at TV Asahi's headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo) for the drama "If I Fell in Love with a Terminator" (TV Asahi, Saturdays at 11 PM), starring Ryota Miyadate of the popular group "Snow Man," which will start airing on April 4th. It was revealed that Snow Man members Tatsuya Fukazawa and Hikaru Iwamoto visited the set with refreshments.
Miyadate said, "They really surprised me by bringing me these treats... It warmed my heart," expressing his gratitude for their thoughtfulness. Asami Usuda, who was also there, thanked them, saying, "I received so many delicious things... It warmed my stomach too!"
Miyadate shared another anecdote, saying, "Fukka (Fukazawa) left a note for me." He explained that it was advice for him as he takes on his first leading role in a TV drama, and added, "It said, 'Take lots of pauses,' so I think you'll see a lot of Eita (the character I play) taking pauses in the drama (laughs)." He then demonstrated his quick wit by taking pauses when answering questions during the press conference, drawing laughter from the audience.
The drama is a sci-fi romantic comedy depicting the love story between Tokizawa Eita (Miyadate), an android who comes from 400 years in the future to protect the heroine who is being targeted by someone, and Kamio Kurumi (Usuda), a heroine in her late thirties. On this day, he appeared on stage with his co-stars Usuda, Matsukura Kaito from "Travis Japan," and Ishida Hikari in front of fans who had gathered by lottery.
