Cast announced for "Fist of the North Star: Requiem for the Fist King's Army's Weapons" short anime

The main cast of the short anime "Fist of the North Star: Requiem for the Fist King's Army's Minions," a spin-off of the popular manga "Fist of the North Star," has been announced, with Hiro Shimono playing the lead character Nobu, Shinnosuke Hai playing Zaku, and Masaaki Yano playing Birds. Shinya Takahashi will be the narrator.

Shimono commented, "I played the role of Nobu, an ordinary villager who gets a job with the lowly 'Kenoh Army' from 'Fist of the North Star'! What kind of life and activities do the members of the brutal 'Kenoh Army' lead? I had a lot of fun portraying the fleeting yet funny daily life from Nobu's perspective! Hai said, "This time I'm in charge of the voice of Zaku! His thoughts, actions and words are all crazy, but he is so calm and collected that it makes you wonder, "How can this guy be so calm...?" Zaku is actually said to be a hidden powerhouse within Kenoh's army, so perhaps you need this much courage to be the commander of the Imperial Guard (laughs). Yano said, "I was determined to endure and take the filming seriously because if I hit a snag during the recording, I wouldn't be able to get out! "Fist of the North Star: Elegy of the Fist King's Army's Weapons" depicts the exploits of the familiar "weapons" from "Fist of the North Star." In the year 199X, the protagonist Nobu finds employment with the Fist King's Army, an extremely dangerous workplace where more people die than apply. The game features a variety of unique weapons, including a weapon disguised as an old woman, the Uighur prison warden of Cassandra, and the Holy Emperor's "man who disinfects filth."

"Fist of the North Star" is a manga written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1983 to 1988. Set in a post-nuclear war world ruled by violence in the year 199X, the story follows Kenshiro, the successor to the legendary Hokuto Shinken assassination fist, as he grows up and fights against powerful opponents, including his brother Raoh.
