Calorie Mate:Unexpected game sequel: Yuichi Nakamura, Tomokazu Sugita, Kugimiya Rie as "jelly" and Akio Otsuka

As a new promotion for Otsuka Pharmaceutical's "Creator Support Series" for its "Calorie Mate," the 3D action adventure game "Calorie Mate FOR GAME CREATORS - JELLY MISSION -" was released on Steam on September 19th. This is the sequel to "Calorie Mate LIQUID FOR GAME CREATORS," a game that was released for a limited time last year and became a hot topic. Calorie Mate Jelly jumps out of the refrigerator and goes on a great adventure around a 2DK apartment to provide balanced nutrition to game creators. A video introducing the game has also been released.

Voice actor Yuichi Nakamura will voice the apple flavor of Calorie Mate Jelly, Tomokazu Sugita will voice the lime and grapefruit flavor, and Rie Kugimiya will voice the fruity milk flavor. Following on from the previous game, Akio Otsuka will also appear as Calorie Mate Liquid, who saves the Jellys from a pinch. The game will be available until December 31st.

Nakamura commented, "Calorie Mate is a game...? This is apparently the second release, but I think you might be wondering what they're talking about. Why not just play it without thinking about it? If you do that, you'll probably understand, 'Oh... so it's true...'"

Sugita said, "There were many things that really struck a chord with me. I will especially remember the words, 'Don't just settle for jelly, eat a proper meal.'"

Kugimiya said, "I played the energetic Fruity Milk flavor. Calorie Mate Jelly Fruity Milk flavor is characterized by the soft jelly texture that jiggles the moment you put it in your mouth, and its gentle, fruity taste, so I had fun recording while keeping that in mind. I would be happy if you could also pay attention to the cute ending ``-furu.'' Please try playing the Fruity Milk flavor as well!"
