The NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) will look back on the 24th week, "The Birth of Anpanman" (September 8-12) on September 13th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). It is a "story of love and courage" that will fill you with the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the 24th week, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) begins drawing "Uncle Anpanman" again. He was asked by Teshima Osamu (Gordon Maeda) to design the characters for the film "The Thousand and One Nights," which became a huge hit, and his own film "The Gentle Lion," which he directed, also received positive reviews.
One day, Tokairin (Kenjiro Tsuda) visits the Yanai family. Nobu (Imada) is happy to see him again, and Tokairin happily tells him about Taka's achievements. However, shortly after, Nobu receives a letter from Kotoko (Yui Narumi) informing her that Tokairin has passed away.
The letter revealed the true reason why Tokairin had come to Tokyo. That night, Taka was driven by something and began writing, and the next morning the hero with the "Anpan face" was born.
The monthly children's picture book "Anpanman," based on the illustrations, was then placed in kindergartens and libraries...and so on.
