It has been announced that actress Mao Asahina will be appearing in the new TV commercials for LINE Yahoo!'s flea market app, "Yahoo! Flea Market," in the "Lowest Fee" and "Gold Seller" versions. This will be Asahina's first time appearing in a TV commercial. Ahead of its broadcast on August 23rd, the commercial and behind-the-scenes footage have been released on YouTube.
In the commercial showcasing the features of Yahoo! Flea Market's services, Asahina plays a live-action version of "Flea Market-chan," a character previously popular in illustrations. Appearing in a cute miniskirt, she expresses the appeal of "Yahoo! Flea Market" through dancing and a variety of facial expressions.
Asahina said, "I worked hard on the dance scene, and the dance that expresses the fact that the sales commission is the lowest 5% is really cute, so I hope you will pay attention to it."
Asahina is 23 years old and was born on January 14th, 2002. She started working as a model in 2020, and last year, she began her acting career after appearing in the drama "Kimi no Tsugu Kaori wa" (TOKYO MX). She currently has a number of films and dramas lined up for her appearances.
