"Anpan" Episode 104: The Hostess's "True Identity" is a Legendary Gravure Idol

The 104th episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Mio Imada, was broadcast on August 21st. In the episode, there was a scene where Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) was surrounded by three hostesses, and viewers reacted to the "legendary gravure idol" who appeared in the scene.

In episode 104, Takuya (Motoki Omori) asks Taku to write a script for a TV drama, and Taku accepts the job. Nobu (Imada) worries that Taku might quit manga if he continues like this.

One day, Nobu and Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) were waiting for Taka, who was in a meeting at a cafe. When Taka got up from his seat after the meeting, three hostesses who were about to go to work came rushing over and surrounded Taka, shouting, "Wow! The teacher from 'Manga Classroom'!"

As Nobu was stunned, Kentaro muttered, "They're not just popular with kids, they're popular with women too," to which Nobu expressed her jealousy, saying, "They're beautiful people," and "They're so rude, even though they're so lucky."

The hostesses fawn over Taka, saying, "Yanai Sensei, please give us your autograph!" Seeing this, Nobu angrily leaves the cafe, saying, "I'm sorry to disturb you."

One of the hostesses is played by legendary gravure idol Fumina Suzuki. On August 19th, Suzuki updated her Instagram (@suzukifumina) with the caption, "I will be appearing in the NHK Asadora' Anpan.' It was a valuable experience to be able to take part in a work that I have been watching up until now," along with a behind-the-scenes photo of her in her costume.

On social media, people were saying things like, "Suzuki Fumina is here!", "Seriously?", "I'm glad I got to see my favorite Suzuki Fumina first thing in the morning," "Suzuki Fumina's acting was brilliant," "Suzuki Fumina was in the role of a hostess. I didn't realize," and "She only had a short scene but she had a great presence and was beautiful."
