The synopsis and stills from episode 8 of the Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Tomorrow Will Be a Better Day " (Mondays at 9pm) starring Haruka Fukuhara , which will be broadcast on August 25th, have been released.
Nora Nobuko (Kobayashi Kinako) is working with the Foster Parent Support Center to finalize the placement of Karen Iwamoto (Yoshida Moeka) with a foster parent. Hashimoto Satoshi (Morita Kanro) and his wife Chika (Asaka Manato), who are eager to adopt Karen, are also working hard on their training. Since it will take some time for Karen's hospitalized mother to be released, the placement is the best option for Karen.
However, Noguchi Fuga (Ninomiya Rikuto) and Sakanishi Aoba (Ichino Kana), who had been good friends with Karen since they arrived at the shelter at about the same time, barricade themselves in their room, saying, "I don't want to be with Karen." This is because they don't like the way Karen talks happily about going out with the Hashimotos.
Furthermore, perhaps becoming anxious when they heard that Karen was going to live with foster parents, the brothers Anzai Kanamu (Chiba Sojiro) and Kanamu (Otokida Saku) also began expressing their desire to see their mother Yumeno ( Ichika Osaki).
If there are no problems with the overnight stay, the formal procedures for placing Karen in foster care will be carried out. Hachimura Taichi (Kazama Shunsuke) asks Natsui Tsubasa (Fukuhara) and Kurata Sosuke (Shunsuke Kazama) to pick up and drop off Karen. Makita Himawari (Ikuta Erika), Nobuko and others are preparing for Karen's graduation ceremony.
On the day of the overnight stay, Tsubasa takes Karen to the Hashimoto household. However, Tsubasa is troubled when Karen suddenly stops and mutters, "I wonder if I can do it well... like a normal family."
The screenplay was written by Tani Aohito of the theater company Jikan Production, and the story is set in a seaside child consultation center. The heartwarming story follows the protagonist, Natsui Tsubasa (Fukuhara), who is suddenly transferred from the violent crimes division of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police to the child consultation center. As a new child welfare officer, he comes into contact with a variety of children and parents and grows together with them.
