It has been announced that Fuji TV's special program introducing famous scenes from popular anime, "Saturday Premium: National Anime Festival: Sazae-san! Chibi Maruko-chan! Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba! Super Rare Scenes 2-Hour Special," will be broadcast as a two-hour special from 9:00 p.m. on July 5th.
This is the third installment, and will reveal surprising and unknown facts about "Sazae-san," "Chibi Maruko-chan," and "GeGeGe no Kitaro" in different categories. For "Sazae-san," little-known aspects of the characters will be revealed, such as the facts behind Sazae-san's hairstyle and the truth about the overly underhanded Norisuke. For "Chibi Maruko-chan," rare footage will be shown, including the shocking sight of a mother who had a failed perm, and Tama-chan's father, whose love for his daughter goes too far. For "GeGeGe no Kitaro," the history of Neko Musume and an episode with Neko Musume and Kitaro that fans call "a divine episode" will be introduced.
A special feature on "over the top scenes" from Showa and Heisei sports anime will also be broadcast, showcasing a variety of sports scenes such as "Captain Tsubasa, where the ball is too much of a friend" and "Star of the Giants, where the sliding and rotating is too much." There will also be a "Demon Slayer: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba : Kimetsu Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Infinity Castle Arc " will be released on July 18th.
The comedy duo Kirin's Kawashima Akira, Chocolate Planet, and actress Kanna Hashimoto will serve as MCs, and guests will include Ano, Shunsuke Kazama, Shimazaki Wakako, Shimofuri Myojo's Seiiya, and Ginshari's Hashimoto Nao.
Kawashima commented, "It's been a year since our last recording, and I was surprised to see how much anime footage Fuji TV still has! The studio guests ranged from the younger generation like Ano-chan to our generation and Wakako-san's (Shimazaki) generation, and it was fun to see them all get excited. Even from works that everyone knows, there are some unexpected episodes that make you go, 'I didn't know there was an episode like that!' so I hope you'll pay attention to that too. Somehow, the characters in 'Sazae-san' have the image of being all pure and innocent, but there are actually a lot of scumbags (laughs). When you see characters like them collecting cigarettes in the worst way possible or lying to the police without a second thought, it makes you feel like you don't have to be perfect. I hope the whole family will enjoy watching it and see that side of it too!"
