A new character relationship chart for the NHK morning drama " Anpan " starring Mio Imada(General Asadora , Monday to Saturday 8:00am and others) has been released on the drama's official website. The chart, which begins on May 19th with the 8th week "Encounters and Partings," includes new characters Jiro Wakamatsu , played by Ayumu Nakajima , and Wakamatsu Setsuko Wakamatsu , played by Misuzu Kanno .
Jiro Wakamatsu is Nobu's (Imada) first arranged marriage partner. He graduated from a maritime academy and works as a first-class engineer. His father is an acquaintance of Yutaro (Ryo Kase) and is the chief engineer. Jiro himself has met Yutaro on board a ship. His hobby is photography.
Setsuko Wakamatsu is the mother of Jiro (played by Nakajima). Upon learning of Nobu's existence, she brings the idea of an arranged marriage between Jiro and the Asada family.
In addition, the latest character relationship chart does not include the names of three people: Usako Ogawa , played by Sara Shida Shida, Mimi Yamashita , played by Sonim, and Yukiko Kuroi Kuroi, played by Kumi Takiuchi . Perhaps they were relieved of their duties by the previous week...
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the eighth week, Nobu has been a teacher at his alma mater, Gomenyo Elementary School, for a year and a half, and has been instilling patriotism in his students.
Nobu, who will soon be twenty years old, has been approached with many marriage proposals, but she has no interest in them. However, an elegant woman (Ryo Kase), who was friends with Yutaro (Ryo Misuzu Kanno), appears... Meanwhile, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) was supposed to be working hard on his art in preparation for graduation, but instead he spends his days sighing.
Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) points out that Nobu is the cause of the problem, and deliberately says some harsh words to him, telling him to forget about it quickly...and so the story unfolds.
