On May 15th, actress Suzu Hirose appeared at the photocall for her starring film "Distant Mountain Light" (directed by Ishikawa Kei, scheduled for release on September 5th) at the 78th Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France, wearing a Louis Vuitton dress.
Hirose, who serves as the brand's ambassador, wore a silk wool cady halter neck dress with a 3D geometric motif. The high waist and ankle length made her look even more stylish.
She coordinated her look with black satin sandals and a white gold and diamond ring from the fine jewelry collection Le Damier de Louis Vuitton.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro. Set in Nagasaki in the 1950s and Britain in the 1980s, it is a human mystery that uncovers the secrets of the memories of Etsuko (Hirose), a woman who experienced the atomic bomb. It was officially selected for the "Un Certain Regard" category at the festival.
