After the " Mugen Train, the tsuba (hand guard) of Rengoku's Nichirin sword was entrusted to Tanjiro, but Hino said, "I still feel like I'm fighting alongside Tanjiro."
The story of "Mugen Train" is that Tanjiro, the Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku and the Demon Slaying Corps head to investigate the Mugen Train, where more than 40 people have gone missing in a short period of time. Released in October 2020, it was a huge hit, grossing approximately 40.4 billion yen, the highest grossing box office in Japan's history.
Hino said, even after the release of "Mugen Train," "I followed the anime as a viewer just like everyone else, and each time I watched it I felt frustrated that I couldn't fight together with them. But when I saw that Tanjiro was carrying the tsuba and the will of Kyojuro Rengoku, I felt like I was fighting alongside him. When I see Tanjiro holding the tsuba, it makes my heart warm."
Hanae said, "It feels reassuring, like I'm carrying Rengoku on my shoulders. I'm carrying Rengoku's feelings, as well as those of Senjuro and Saijuro. Tsuba is also saving Kotetsu. Every time I see Tsuba on screen, I feel like my body tenses up."
Revival screenings of "Mugen Train" began on May Getsuku at 423 cinemas nationwide. The screening will run for five weeks only, and a new trailer for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc" will be shown at the end of the film, which has attracted attention.
The story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human.
