Eleven character visuals for "Dive in Wonderland," the first Japanese animated feature film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland, have been released. In addition to Rise, a university student who gets lost in Wonderland, and Alice, who travels with Rise and makes various encounters with her, the film also depicts the "unusual" residents of Wonderland, including the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and the Mad Hatter.
The story is about a modern girl named Rise who one day gets lost in Wonderland and meets Alice. The film will be directed by Toshiya Shinohara, who has worked on "Nagi no Asukara," "Irozuku Sekai no Ashita Kara," and "Shiroi Sand no Aquatope," and produced by PAWORKS.
Actor Nanoka Hara will voice the main character Rise, and Maika Pugh will voice Alice. The film will be released on August 29th.
