Nicole Fujita (27), a talent, appeared on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) broadcast on April 15th. She talked about her life with actor Tomo Inaba (32), whom she married in 2023.
Fujita said that Inaba, who is five years older than her, is good at cooking and does most of the housework. "It's not that I can't do it either, but my husband notices things quickly. He's kind and does everything," she said happily. The two have a rule that whoever cooks the dishes takes a break from washing them, and she said with a shy smile, "Fujita does the dishes every day."
"I'm really happy that our family has grown. I can talk about what happened today and I'm less likely to get depressed," she said. "(Before I got married) I used to feel depressed all the time and there were days when I would feel miserable after coming home from work, but now I can release stress by talking to my husband. We have a good relationship."
She said happily that she is "very lazy." "I leave socks lying around, or half-drunk juice on the table, and before I know it, it's gone (laughs). (Inaba) always cleans up after me."
On the other hand, I also felt that marriage is really difficult.
"(Because my surname changed) I had to change the name on all my cards and health insurance cards. I wondered why I should be the only one who had to go through this, so I asked my husband to accompany me everywhere. He's a kind person," she said, smiling.
