The 10th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on April 11th, and viewers were drawn to the preview of the following week's episode, "What for? Born?", which was released after the main story.
In episode 10, Takashi (Yuki Kimura) goes to see Tomiko ( Nanako Matsushima) in Kochi using the address on the postcard. Takashi is overjoyed to be reunited with his mother after a long time, but Tomiko looks confused.
Nobu (Yuzuna Nagase) is worried about Takashi who has disappeared and can't sit still. Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) takes Nobu outside to sell the remaining Anpan. Then she sees Takashi collapsed on the road. As Hatako and Nobu look on, Takashi devours the bean-jam bun with Anpan. With strength welling up from the bottom of his stomach, Takashi starts to walk powerfully... and so the story unfolds.
The preview for next week, which was released after the main story ended, begins with Nobu (Imada), now a fourth-year high school student, challenging a bread-eating contest. Nobu's grown-up sisters Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara) are seen cheering her on.
The scene changed to a scene where Takashi's (Takumi Kitamura) younger brother Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa) said "I love you" on the beach and Nobu smiled. Tomiko was also shown saying "I'm worried about Takashi." At the end, Takashi's uncle Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) was talking about "Why were we born and what should we do with our lives?"
The title and lines of the song overlap with the lyrics of "Anpanman March," written by Takashi Yanase, who served as the model for Taku, "For what purpose were we born and what do we live for?", leading to comments on social media such as, "It's a perfect parody of Anpanman. The preview for next week has such a strong impact," "The words sound familiar," "The preview for the next episode has me looking forward to next week! It feels like the famous lyrics," and "Anpanman songs have really great lyrics."
Also, attention was drawn to the fact that Tomiko, who was supposed to have broken up with Taku in episode 10, appears in the preview for next week's episode, with comments such as, "Will Tomiko appear again? She's a devilish woman," "It looks like there will be some more upheaval," and "Taku has cut off his feelings for his mother, but Tomiko appears in the preview for next week..."
