The drama series "If She Calls It Love" starring actor Chiaki Kuriyama (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays 11:59pm) has released the synopsis and stills from the second episode, which will air on April 10th.
Hisame (Kentaro Ito) falls in love with Ima (Kuriyama), but is confused by the fact that she tells him that she has another lover. However, he decides to try to understand Ima's love and begins living with her and her two lovers, Ao (Kento Senga) and Itaru (Tomomi Maruyama).
One day, Hisame discovers a pair of red men's boxer shorts in Ima's room. He is confronted with the harsh reality that she has a partner other than him. He confides in Ao and Itaru that his love for Ima is not balanced with his, but Ao says, "Love comes in many forms," and Itaru asserts, "Even if there is only one partner, it doesn't necessarily mean that romantic feelings are proportional."
Unable to accept this, Hisame is torn between wanting Ima to only look at him and his desire to understand him.
Meanwhile, Ima reunites with her high school classmate, Kinuka (Eri Tokunaga). Ima candidly reveals the existence of a boyfriend, but Kinuka feels complicated about her own cold marriage. With this reunion and meeting another person, Kinuka's life also begins to move forward.
Based on the novel of the same name by Ichiki Kei (Gentosha Bunko). Ima, a single mother raising a high school-aged daughter, falls in love again. The love interest is Hisame, a graduate student majoring in biology. Ima already has two lovers. A story that shakes up our rigid notions of normalcy.
