The sixth episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others), starring Mio Imada , which will air in the first half of 2025, was broadcast on April 7th, and a certain side of Nobu Asada(Nagase Yuzuna), was revealed.
In the sixth episode, the Asada family gained the strength to live after eating Kusakichi's (Sadao Abe) Anpan. Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) started working as a side job, and Kamaji (Kotaro Yoshida) and his family worked hard at their stonemasons. In this way, they tried to somehow get over the death of Yutaro.
Meanwhile, when Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima) doesn't come home, Takashi (Yuki Kimura) is worried, and Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) shows him a boys' magazine. Takashi's eyes light up and he becomes immersed in the world of manga. Then, one day, Meiko (Saeki Nagatani) sneaks into Kamatsuri's workshop... and so the story unfolds.
The sisters help out with the side jobs Hatako brought home. Next to Nobu, Ranko shows off her dexterity despite her small size. Nobu is impressed, saying, "Oh...Ranko, you're so skillful."
The grown-up version of Ranko will be played by Yuumi Kawai. The drama's official website describes her as "the second daughter who is serious, skillful, and reliable. She can understand what everyone is thinking and takes appropriate action."
On social media, people responded with comments such as "Ranko seems to be dexterous", "Ranko is really dexterous", "Ranko-chan is really dexterous", "Ranko being dexterous may be a hint for something", "Ranko being dexterous seems like a setting that will come in handy later on", "I wonder if Ranko will get a job that makes use of her dexterity", "Ranko-chan is really reliable. She could be like Yuumi Kawai in the future", and so on.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu Komatsu(1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
