The average overall viewership rating (surveyed by Video Research, Kanto region, below) for all 125 episodes of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi ," starring Kanna Hashimoto , from the first episode to the last, was 17.0% households (13.1% real-time, 4.6% time-shifted), failing to reach the 20% mark.
The individual viewership rate was 9.8% (real-time 7.4%, time-shifted 2.6%). In the Kansai region, the average overall viewership rate for the period was 16.2% for households (12.0% real-time, 4.7% time-shifted), and 8.8% for individuals (6.4% real-time, 2.6% time-shifted).
" Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with the "gal spirit" of valuing one's individuality at all times.
A comment from the drama's production manager, Takashi Usagawa, was also released.
"Thank you very much for watching "Omusubi" for the past six months. I'm sorry to say this is a cliché, but I've always thought that 'we exist because of all of you who watch the drama.' We received a lot of encouragement and scolding, and it gave us strength on many occasions.
