The main visual for the drama series "Mamono" (TV Asahi, Friday 11:15pm *excluding some regions), starring actress Aso Kumiko, which will begin on April 18th, was released on April 7th. Two different versions, the "front" and "back", have been released, and the "back" version shows a sensual scene in which the protagonist, lawyer Hanajin Ayame (Aso), and murder suspect Minamoto Toya (Akihisa Shiono) passionately desire each other.
The drama is an original work jointly produced by TV Asahi and SLL, a major Korean production company that has produced global hits such as "Itaewon Class." A love suspense story in which a lone lawyer, Ayame, falls in forbidden love with a man named Toya who is a suspect in a murder case.
The main visuals were created by graphic designer Daisuke Mihori. Based on Mihori's belief that "actors look their most beautiful when they are fully immersed in their roles," both visuals were taken from scenes in the drama.
The visual for the "front" shows Ayame and Touya huddled under an umbrella, looking up at a rainbow, expressing their pure love. The "back" shows Ayame becoming more and more absorbed in her love with Touya, expressing the theme of the film, forbidden and lust.
A new two-minute promotional video was also released on TV Asahi's YouTube channel, "TV Asahi Drama Official Channel."
