The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and others), starring Mio Imada , which will air in the first half of 2025, will enter its second week, "Fushiawase-san Today," on April 7th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu Komatsu(1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the second week, Nobu's (Nagase Yuzuna) father, Yutaro (Ryo Kase), dies, and her grandfather, Kamaji (Kotaro Yoshida), a stonemason, injures his arm in a freak accident.
Nobu tries to do something about it by taking Kusakichi (Sadao Abe) to the Asada family home. He is turned away by Kamaji at first, but with the help of Hatako (Noriko Eguchi), Kusakichi starts a business baking "Anpan" (sweet bean buns) at the Asada family home. Meanwhile, the Yanai family receives a letter from Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima), who they haven't heard from in a while.
Takashi goes looking for Tomiko, also for his younger brother Chihiro (Masataka Hirayama), who has a fever and wants to see their mother, but...
