The final episode of the drama series " Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle? " (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring Suzu Hirose was broadcast on March 28th. Regarding the lawyer Hasami played by Win Morisaki, comments such as "Thank you for being a source of comfort until the end" spread on social media.
◇The following contains spoilers
Hasami is a childhood friend of Matsukaze (played by Matsuyama Kenichi) since their elementary school days. He is a character whose catchphrase is "Iki" (cool) and often uses phrases such as "Nice to meet you!"
Up until the final episode, some viewers were suspicious, saying, "At this point, I'm starting to think that even Win Morisaki might be involved in something." On the other hand, there were also comments such as, "It would be disgusting if Hasami was somehow involved at this point. It's not cool," and "Oasis will be there until the end."
In the final episode, the truth behind the Togayama incident that occurred 22 years ago and the arson incident that killed Haruo Yamashita (Lily Franky) is revealed. It turns out that Hasami had nothing to do with the incidents.
After the truth of the incident was revealed, Hasami kindly told Komugi Komugi, "As long as you're okay with it, you can continue working as a paralegal." When Kokoro Mugi replied, "I'm glad to hear you Komugi that. But I've got college to attend," Hasami muttered, "That's cool, and yet not cool."
Furthermore, Hasami said, "Even so, it makes me feel lonely, doesn't it? Right, Teru?" Matsukaze coldly replied, "Yeah, well." Hasami immediately retorted, "What's up with that vague answer? That's not cool."
On social media, comments such as, "I'm really glad Hasami isn't the mastermind or anything, but is simply a cool, stylish, glasses-wearing good guy," "Hasami is the best, a kind, humorous, handsome lawyer until the very end," "Win Morisaki is the coolest!", "I'm grateful that Hasami remained just a soothing character until the very end," and "I want to see another story featuring the Matsukaze-Hasami duo" were posted.
