The first episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am and others) was broadcast on March 31st, and it was revealed that the average household viewership rating (according to Video Research, hereafter the same) in her hometown of Kochi was 26.2%. The individual viewership rating was 15.1%.
The viewership rating for the first episode of the morning Asadora"Ranman," which is also set in Kochi and will air in the first half of 2023, was 25.9% for households and 14.1% for individuals, a good start that was 0.3 points higher than the household viewership rating for "Ranman."
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu Komatsu(1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." This is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."Nobu Komatsu Nobu Asada, and Takashi Yanase Takumi plays Takashi Yanai, who is based on Yanase Takumi Kitamura.
