The 13th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "The Zatōkin that Shakes Edo", was broadcast on March 30th. The episode depicted Ine (Mizuno Miki) taking the Elekiteru from Gennai's ( Karin Ono Ken) place as a "ransom" for Utsusemi (Ono Karin), who left Yoshiwara with Shinnosuke (Ken Yasuda Kai).
"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture.
In episode 13, Tsutae (Yokohama) receives news from Tomeshiro (Mizusawa Rintaro) that Urokogataya (Kataoka Ainosuke) has been arrested again for counterfeiting.
We learn that Urokogataya had accumulated debts from various sources, and one of the documents was sent to a banker led by Toriyama Kengyo (Hayato Ichihara), who committed a crime in desperation. Meanwhile, within Edo Castle, the problem of a samurai's daughter being sold to pay off debts is raised, and Okitsugu (Ken Watanabe) orders Hasegawa Heizō Nobuyoshi (Nakamura Hayato) to investigate and uncover the truth about the banker's money...
At the end of the previous episode, Utsusemi and Shinnosuke tried to escape by blending in with the hustle and bustle of the Nigata Festival. Ine tries to get Gennai to tell her where they went, but he says he has no idea if it's true or not. So Ine picks up an Elekiteru that was nearby and dashes off, saying, "Here's the ransom. I'll give it back when that prostitute is caught!"
Jirobei (Nakamura Aoi) then revealed that "Matsubaya has suggested that we pretend he was spirited away."

Some viewers were quick to point out that "Shin and Utsusemi successfully escaped!", while others were unsure, saying, "Did it end with them being spirited away...?"
