It is revealed that Kyoko (Nishida Naomi) is involved in the Togayama incident.
Kyoko let her younger brother starve to death when she was a child. After marrying Akazawa ( Takahiro Fujimoto), she gave birth to Mamoru (Kota Nomura) and resolved to make Mamoru happy. She thought that if she had money, something like that would never happen again. She told Akazawa that she wanted to leave Mamoru in his care and get a job, but Akazawa opposed it.
Kyoko starts a company with her childhood friend Hiroshima Ikumi (Iketani Nobue) without telling Akazawa about it, and is helped by investor Hayashikawa Yasunari (Nomaguchi Toru).
Kyouko and Yasunari had become necessary to each other, so she separated from Akazawa. She had planned to divorce him soon and move on to the next stage of her life with Mamoru, but she found out she was pregnant with Yasunari's child. Yasunari told her, "I'm going to separate from my wife. However, once the child is born, please let us welcome him into the Hayashikawa family."
A little while later, Kyoko hears from Yasunari that the divorce has been finalized. When she and Yasunari take their newborn baby and head to the Hayashikawa residence, she finds Yasunari's wife, Satoko (Ando Wako), there.
Satoko explodes with anger at Kyoko and Yasunari. She tells Yasunari that she has killed both his and Satoko's families, and tries to kill him, telling him to "go ahead and get to the kids (whom she murdered)." However, Yasunari ends up killing Satoko instead.
"If something like this becomes known to the public, it will be the end of the Hayashikawa family. At the very least, the honor of the Hayashikawa family will be..."
Yasunari asked Kyoko for help and decided to make it look like his entire family had been killed, then took his own life.
On social media, comments such as "It's more hellish than I imagined," "It's chaos," "The Hayashikawa family was more chaotic than I thought," "The truth was too painful," "It's too insane," "The hellish truth was interesting, but it was interesting," "It was so brutal I was stunned," and "Komugi chan's past was so brutal" were posted.
