It has been revealed that Koki Uchiyama will be appearing as a voice actor in the TV anime "SAKAMOTO DAYS," based on the popular manga by Yuto Suzuki, which is currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha). Uchiyama will play Gaku, a man of overwhelming strength who destroys half of the Kanto branch of the Satsuren in an instant.
Uchiyama commented, "I tried to play the role while keeping in mind the image of Raku that I got from reading the original work. Raku is a character who loves games and goes at his own pace, but has high fighting abilities. He is also a member of Slur's group. I think the action scenes are the biggest attraction of this work, but I hope you will also enjoy the unique conversation scenes between the Slurs, who are all quirky characters. Be sure to watch the anime 'SAKAMOTO DAYS' and pay attention to how Raku will fight!"
The key visuals for the second season of the anime were also released. The visuals center around Sakamoto, who is ready with a ballpoint pen in hand, Shin and Lou, who work at Sakamoto Shokudo, as well as Nagumo, Kamigami Kai, and Daibutsu, members of ORDER, a special task force directly under the control of the Assassin League, the mysterious X (Slar) who carries out assassin killing missions, Kashima, a human whose entire body is a weapon and who worships him, and Raku, who enjoys fighting at his own pace as if it were a game, expressing the threat that is approaching Sakamoto and his friends and the fierce battle that will soon come.
The story is about Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary assassin who runs a shop after retiring, who fights with his friends against approaching assassins to protect the peaceful daily life he lives with his beloved family. This is a popular "Weekly Shonen Jump" work with impressive battle scenes featuring unique characters, and the appearance of a luxurious cast of voice actors such as Nobunaga Shimazaki as Nobunaga Shimazaki who can read other people's minds and was a subordinate of Sakamoto's when he was an assassin, and Ayane Sakura, a former mafia member who now works at Sakamoto Shoten, is also a hot topic.
The final episode of the first season, episode 11 "Casino Battle", will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks on March 22nd. The second season will begin airing in July.
