Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt:New TV anime to start in July for the first time in 15 years, new characters "Angel Brothers" revealed, voiced by Junya Enoki and Yuto Uemura

It has been announced that a new TV anime, "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT", based on the anime "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, will be broadcast and streamed from July. This will be the first new TV anime in about 15 years since the previous work was broadcast in 2010. It was also announced that new characters will appear: two angel brothers who have been newly sent from heaven to Daten City. The older brother Polyester will be played by Junya Enoki, and the younger brother Polyurethane will be played by Yuto Uemura. A promotional video for the new characters has also been released on YouTube.

Enoki commented, "I'm a fan of Director Imaishi, so I'm very happy to be able to take part in the new Pantyhose series! The content seems to be the same as always, and I'm already worried about whether it will actually be able to be broadcast, but it's really interesting! I'll do my best to see the smiles of all the Pantyhose fans and Director Imaishi!"

Kamimura said, "I'm very happy to be able to take part in this stylish and eccentric production! From the audition onwards, I was told to 'be more cute!' So, with complete trust in Enoki-san as the older brother, I am taking on the challenge of recording while searching for the new angel's own cuteness. There is nothing to learn from my seniors, and I can't let vulgar language embarrass me. I'm having fun playing Polyurethane! I look forward to working with you in the future!"

The anime was directed by Imaishi, who is known for works such as "Gurren Lagann," "Kill la Kill," and "Promare," and was broadcast in 2010. TRIGGER has acquired the rights to the original work, and a new project has been launched. The new work will be directed by Imaishi, following the previous work, and will be produced by TRIGGER, who also produced "Kill la Kill" and "Promare."
