The 10th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "What is the Dream of the 'Blue Chamber Beauty'?" was broadcast on March 9th. In this episode, the "casual kindness" shown by Matsubaya Hanzaemon, played by Masana Bokuzou, became a hot topic among viewers.
In the 10th episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama) is dejected after Segawa ( Fuka Koshiba) is bought. Meanwhile, her father and friends ask her to create a nishikie (colored woodblock print) to accompany Segawa's "Last Courtesan's Procession."
So Tsutaju asked popular artists such as Shigemasa Kitao (Atsushi Hashimoto) and Shunsho Katsukawa (Tomoya Maeno) to draw the everyday lives of the courtesans, and a gorgeous nishiki-e book was completed. Then, accompanied by Gennai Hiraga (Ken Yasuda), he visited the mansion of Tanuma Okitsugu(Ken Watanabe) and obtained a promise to present it to the shogun.
Tsutajyo grabs Matsubaya's father and hands him a picture book, asking, "May I have you give this to the courtesan Segawa?" Matsubaya flatly refuses, saying, "I'm busy, so give it to her yourself." Tsutajyo is surprised and asks, "What? Are you sure?", but Matsubaya replies, "What? Why not?" and encourages Tsutajyo to go and meet Segawa himself.

"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, who is known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
