Actor Mone Kamishiraishi will appear on the NHK music program "SONGS" (General TV, 10pm) on March 6th. The program was shot on location in her hometown of Kagoshima. Kamishiraishi, who had difficulty fitting in at school as a child and even went to school in the nurse's office for a time, will be reunited with her musical school teacher who helped her find a place where she could belong.
Kamishiraishi, who is also active as a singer, will also be shown the first public video of a recital where she discovered the joy of expressing herself through music. Singer AI will also be appearing as a special guest. AI and Kamishiraishi are from the same hometown and wrote the theme song for the Asadora drama "Kumkum Everybody," in which Kamishiraishi played one of the heroines. There is also a scene where Kamishiraishi confronts AI about the struggles she faces as a singer.
In the studio performance, she will cover "Nandemonaiya (movie ver.)" from the animated film "Your Name.", in which she voiced the heroine. In addition to "Yoake wo Kuchizusametara," which she also sang at the Red and White Song Battle, she will also perform the full version of "Mabushii," which was written after conveying the message she wanted to sing to Yoshiki Mizuno of "Ikimonogakari," for the first time on television.
