It has been announced that the TV anime "Alien Mu-Mu-Mu," based on the manga by Miyashita Yuki currently being serialized in "Young King Ours" (Shonen Gahosha), will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations starting April 9th. Additional cast members have also been announced, including Takahashi Karin as Mu-Mu and Decimal's compatriot Siberia, and Katsuyuki Konishi as his partner Anamori Junichiro. The second key visual, with Machida Station in Machida City, where the anime is set, in the background, has also been released.
Takahashi commented, "After I was decided to appear in the role, I read the original manga and became captivated by the cuteness of the cats and the interesting home appliances. Siberia is always angry, but he's a cute guy that you can't hate. I hope everyone will love him too. The dubbing site was also filled with a very warm and fun atmosphere, which I feel is a direct reflection of the warmth of the work. I'm happy to be able to take part in such a wonderful production! I hope everyone enjoys the daily lives of Moomoo-senpai and his friends."
Konishi said, "I've always loved Miyashita-sensei's manga and have read it often, so I'm very happy! I'm sure after watching it you'll want to buy some home appliances! Anamori will also be making a few appearances, so be sure to check it out!"
The story is about Muumuu, a cat-like alien who comes to Earth from far away in space and learns about home appliance technology on Earth in order to recover the technology his species lost. Muumuu's arrival completely changes the ordinary college life of the main character, Sakurako Umeyashiki.
