A special variety show called "Koizumi Kotaro & Kamaitachi's Celebrity Test," in which celebrities who pride themselves on being "the number one entertainment expert in the entertainment industry" gather to take on various questions related to celebrities, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturday 9pm) on February 22nd. Koizumi Kotaro will be the executive chairman, and the MCs will be Yamauchi Kenji and Hamaie Ryuichi of the comedy duo "Kamaitachi." This will be the first time that Koizumi and Kamaitachi have teamed up.
The nine "entertainment-savvy" talents who will be gathering in the studio are Iio Kazuki, Ikeda Miyu, Katsumata Kazukazu, Tatsumi Yudai from the popular group "Four You", Tsubaki Oniyatsu, Nonomura Yukiko, Fukura P, Fujimoto Toshifumi and Wakatsuki Chinatsu from the comedy duo "FUJIWARA".
The first question was the "Nationwide! Graduation Album Face Test," where participants had to look at photos from their graduation albums and guess who it was when they were young. Photos from the graduation albums of actors, former athletes, comedians and other now-popular entertainers appeared one after another. "I know who it is, but I can't remember the name..." said Katsumata, Iio and Fujimoto, who have long careers in the entertainment industry, as they struggled with the test.
In the question "Which celebrities have played the lead role in live-action versions of popular manga?" participants are asked to name the actors who have played the lead role in popular manga, such as Himura Kenshin in " Rurouni Kenshin ," Hanagaki Takemichi in " Tokyo Revengers," and Red Blood Cell in "Cells at Work."
Furthermore, questions such as "Celebrity! Common Test," which asks participants to guess what four celebrities have in common, "Consider through the Anecdotes! Who Am I?", which asks participants to guess someone from four anecdotes, and the "Star Prank (Secret) Report Quiz," which asks participants to guess what kind of prank was from the legendary prank show "Star Prank (Secret) Report," begin to cause trouble for the initially confident entertainment-savvy talent...
The "Classic Drama Heart-Warming Common Test" asks questions from the top 10 classic dramas that aired on Fuji TV in the 1990s, with questions based on heart-warming footage from each drama, such as "Who is the now-popular comedian who is making his drama debut in "Operation Proposal?" and "How many times do Takuya Kimura and Yamaguchi Tomoko kiss?" from the final scene of "Long Vacation."
The final question was the "Super Difficult! Celebrity Cult Test." Difficult questions included, "Who was the first foreign artist to appear alone on the cover of The Television magazine in 1982?" and "Who is the guest with the longest 48-minute record on the Telephone Shocking segment of Waratte Iitomo!, beating Tetsuko Kuroyanagi?"
After finishing the recording, Executive Committee Chairman Koizumi commented, "It was a lot of fun! Before it started, I thought that the contestants with longer careers in show business would be stronger, but I guess I didn't know that. It was full of old pranks and rare footage from dramas that would be unthinkable now, and I had a lot of fun MCing!"
He continued, "In tests and quizzes, people with good grades at school have an advantage, but that's nothing to do with this program! You viewers might even be stronger than the winner.
