It has been announced that the TV anime "Your Forma", based on the light novel written by Kikuishi Mareho and illustrated by Nozaki Tsubata, published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), will be broadcast on TV Asahi's nationwide anime slot "IMAnimation W" every Wednesday at 11:45 pm from April 2nd. The story follows a pair of polar opposites, Etika Hieda, a genius girl who is a "machine-like human", and Harold W. Lucraft, a "human-like machine" humanoid robot, as they tackle crimes, and the main visual featuring the two has been released. In the anime, Kana Hanazawa will play Etika and Kensho Ono will play Harold.
Additional cast members were announced: Nao Toyama as Biga, Nao Toyama Aya Endo as Totoki, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Fokin, Ayaka Nanase as Dahlia, Chiwa Saito as Lexi, and Isamu Hayashi as Benno.
Singer yama will be performing the opening theme "GRIDOUT". The first main promotional video using the song has been released on YouTube. It depicts an action scene of Etica diving into a person's "memory", giving a glimpse into the relationship between Etica and Harold. An audio drama "Your Forma Prologue", which depicts the day before the first episode, has also been released on YouTube. It features cast members including Hanazawa and Ono.
Higashiyama, who plays Biga, commented, "In today's world, where the way humans and machines interact is changing at an accelerating rate, the events in 'Your Forma' feel more than just science fiction fantasy.It's a work that has great appeal as a mismatched buddy story and as a mystery.Please be sure to watch until the turbulent final episode!"
Endo, who plays Totoki, said, "This is the kind of world I had imagined the future would be, but when I actually put myself in the story, I realized that there are many different problems that aren't just interpersonal issues.It was a role I'd wanted to play someday, so I was both happy and nervous, and it was very rewarding."
Okamoto, who plays Fokine, said, "During the first recording, I was told that he was a handsome character who would rival Harold, so I created the character with a sense of tension. Fokine is gentle and somewhat cute, yet also reliable, and I think the contrast makes him a fascinating character. I look forward to seeing him in action!"
Nanase, who plays Darya, commented, "I love how kind and caring Darya is. I played the role with a sense of realism that the relationship between humans and robots in the story could actually happen in the future...! I'm also really looking forward to the broadcast!"
Saito, who plays Lexie, said, "Lexie is a genius engineer and the creator of the RF Model, but I was reminded that the act of 'giving birth' does indeed contain some madness. I myself found it very interesting to think about the boundary between humans and Amicus, and I enjoyed dubbing it."

The work won the grand prize at the 27th Dengeki Novel Prize. Set in a world where people's memories are recorded in an information terminal (Your Forma) embedded in their brains, the story follows Etika, a genius girl who became the world's youngest special agent and electric investigator, and her humanoid robot partner Harold as they tackle crime. The anime will be directed by Takaharu Ozaki and produced by Geno Studio.
