It has been revealed that the first episode (broadcast on January 9th) of the platinum night Thursday drama "Watashi no Shiranai Watashi" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursday 11:59pm), starring actress Ono Karin, has been viewed over 1 million times on TVer (according to Video Research, measurement period January 10th to 22nd). Ono also commented with joy, "I think it was worth all the effort."
The drama is an original story written by Rieko Obayashi. The protagonist, Mei Haneda (Ono), wakes up to find that she has lost her memory for a year. However, unlike the "dreary everyday life that didn't go as she wanted" she had before she lost her memory, she has now found a life partner, social status, and a unique female friend who she thought was dead. However, Mei's close friend and other people around her gradually start to take away the things that are important to her. She is even accused of murder. This is the story.
◇Comment from Karin Ono
The first episode of "The Me I Don't Know" has been viewed over 1 million times on TVer! I never thought it would reach 1 million views... I think it was worth all the hard work. I feel relieved that the enthusiasm was so strong from the beginning and that something was properly conveyed.
There's still more to come, so I don't want it to end here, and I hope you'll watch episodes 2 and 3 over and over again.
