It has been revealed that the title of the original short movies for the popular anime "Lycoris Recoil" will be "Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time." Key visuals featuring Chisato Nishikigi and Inoue Takinara have also been released. Set in Cafe Ricorico, the six short movies depict the new daily lives of Senzaku and Takinara, and each short movie will be storyboarded and directed by a different creator. Information on the staff for each episode, including Shingo Adachi, Sakuma Takashi, Imigimuru, Tobita Tsuyoshi, Mori Shu, and Mori Kota, has also been announced.
It was also revealed that manholes based on the film will be installed near Kinshicho Park (Sumida Ward, Tokyo) from late March. This was announced on January 18th during a special program on YouTube called "Ricoriko Productions Okinawa Event Commemorative Stream."
"Lycoris Recoil" is an original TV anime directed by Adachi, who was in charge of character design and general animation direction for the "Sword Art Online" and "WORKING!!" series. It depicts the exploits of a young girl (Lycoris) who is an agent for DA (Direct Attack), a secret organization that prevents crimes from happening. The TV anime will air from July to September 2022, and it has also been adapted into a novel, comic book, and stage play. It has also been announced that a new anime will be produced.
