The first episode of the seventh season of the TV drama "Mr. Housekeeper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm), starring TOKIO's Matsuoka Masahiro, was broadcast on January 14th, with model and actor Rinka Kumada appearing in the role of a new housekeeper.
The role of the new housekeeper has previously been played by Fumika Shimizu (now known as Yoshiko Sengen), Ayame Goriki, Rina Kawaei, Marie Iitoyo, Maika Yamamoto, and Hiyori Sakurada. Kumada was selected in the series' first audition.
The new housekeeper she plays, Sakura Daimon, was raised in a police family and is a character who makes even the smallest of incidents into incidents through her delusions and imagination. In the first episode, she saluted and introduced herself as "My father is the head of the First Investigation Division and my mother works at the Crime Research Institute," and showed off a cute detective-style outfit.
On social media, comments such as "Rinka Kumada is seriously too cute", "Rinkuma-chan is so cute! She suits the role of a housekeeper!!", "The quirky new housekeeper is hilarious", and "As expected, this new housekeeper has a strong personality" were posted one after another.
Kumada was born on February 23, 2001 and is 23 years old. She started working as a model for the teen fashion magazine "Nicola" (Shinchosha) in 2012, then became an exclusive model for "Seventeen" (Shueisha), and is currently an exclusive model for "non-no" (Shueisha). She played the heroine in "The Reason We Fall in Love" (TV Asahi) which aired in October last year, making this her second consecutive appearance in a TV Asahi drama.
