The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Diamonds Sleeping in the Sea" (Sunday 9pm), starring actor Kamiki Ryunosuke, aired on December 1st. Kensho (Shimizu Hiroya) proposes to Yuriko (Tsuchiya Tao), and the exchange between the two became a hot topic on social media.

When Kensho showed her the ring, Yuriko simply replied, "What's this? Why? If it's a token of my appreciation for putting up with you until now, you should think about it more. A ring would have a meaning." Kensho put the ring on Yuriko's left ring finger and said happily, "It fits perfectly!" Yuriko tried to explain that she had been exposed to radiation by saying, "I'm Catholic. I can't get divorced. I, I, but..." Kensho said, "I know. Yuriko has been worried about that and has lived her life up until now. I told my father about it too. I thought it was fine if it was okay for both of you. Please continue to be with me, in my life. I'll be with you in Yuriko's life too." Yuriko looked at him intently and blurted out, "...My life is tough," to which Kensho replied, "I'm tough. With Yuriko." Yuriko cried, saying, "You can't do it without me."
