"Kinnikuman" anime "Perfect Superhuman Ancestor Arc" Season 2 starts on January 12, 2025

It has been announced that Season 2 of the new TV anime series "Kinnikuman: Perfect Chojin Ancestors" based on the popular fighting manga "Kinnikuman" will be broadcast on CBC TV, TBS's "Agaru Anime" and other channels from January 12, 2025. In Season 2, the second stage of the Justice-Devil Alliance, including Kinnikuman, and the Perfect-Infinite Army, including Nemesis, kicks off at the Tottori Sand Dunes. "Perfect Chojin Ancestors" is a popular episode that continues from "Kinnikuman Planet Throne Battle," and depicts a three-way battle with the Justice-Devil Army, as the Perfect-Infinite Army attacks as a new threat. The anime will be directed by Satou Akira and produced by Production IG. Miyano Mamoru will play Kinnikuman, with Uesaka Sumire as Meat-kun and Ono Daisuke as Terryman. Season 1 was broadcast on "Agaru Anime" from July to September. "Kinnikuman" is a popular fighting manga by "Yudetamago" that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1979 to 1987. It depicts Kinnikuman, the useless prince of Planet Kinniku, fighting evil supermen together with righteous supermen. The sequel, "Kinnikuman II", began serialization in "Weekly Playboy" (Shueisha) in 1998. In 2011, the serialization of "Kinnikuman" resumed after a 24-year hiatus, which became a hot topic, and it is currently being serialized in "Weekly Playboy" and "Shupure NEWS". In 2013, the series reached 100 volumes. The TV anime began broadcasting in April 1983, recording an average audience rating of about 20%. Seven animated films were also produced.
