Masato (Yukiya Kitamura) visits the shoe store of Takao Watanabe (Naoto Ogata), who he has yet to close the gap with, but there he sees Wakabayashi (Shinya Niiro), a Kobe city employee, being chased out by Takao. Masato goes into an izakaya and hears from Wakabayashi about Takao's condition right after the earthquake.
Meanwhile, Yui (Hashimoto) meets Sachi (Maika Yamamoto) at a vocational school and confesses that she didn't understand the person she was supporting. "Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist with her "gal spirit" that values her individuality at all times.
