Actors Ouji Suzuka and Honoka Matsumoto co-star in Fuji TV's Monday 9pm drama "Usotoki Rhetoric" (Mondays at 9pm). The synopsis and stills from the 9th episode, which will air on December 2nd, have been released.
Fujishima Chiyo (Katayama Yuki) comes to Iwai Souma's (Suzuka) detective agency to request a job. However, Souma, who doesn't like Chiyo, is not keen. With Urabe Kanoko (Matsumoto) acting as a middleman, Souma meets the client, Sanehara Hisashi (Yo Kimiko), who is an acquaintance of the Fujishima family. Hisashi shows Souma and Kanoko a photo of his late daughter, Yori (Yoshida Mikako). 25 years ago, Yori was in love with Yamaoka Otokichi (Hamada Kazuma), a student of Hisashi's husband. Hisashi's husband kicked out Otokichi and immediately arranged for Yori to marry another man. However, on the day of the wedding, Yori eloped with Otokichi. Hisashi wanted to know where Yori was, but her husband did not allow him to search for her. Meanwhile, Hisashi's husband suddenly fell ill and passed away. While Hisashi was sorting out his study, he found documents investigating Yori's elopement. According to them, Yori was living in a small town under the name of Yamaoka Tsuruko. Kamiyo (Hajime Okayama), a lawyer for the Sanehara family, went to search for Yori, but after the elopement, Otokichi died of an epidemic, and Yori also died after giving birth to a child. Kamiyo placed an ad in the newspaper to search for Yori's child, and Tokuda Shiro (Noritaka Hamao) and Honjo Satsuki (Kota Nomura), who claim to be his son, appeared. Hisashi's request was for Souma to determine which one was the real child...
