TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appear! Ad Town Heaven" (Saturday 9pm) will feature Numazu in Shizuoka Prefecture on its November 2nd broadcast.

As a port town on Suruga Bay, Numazu is rich in seafood. The show will feature fatty dried and fried horse mackerel, seafood bowls, and other local specialties other than seafood, such as Italian rolls made with choux pastry, "mysterious" gyoza dumplings that are baked and then boiled, and a 34cm long "Noppo Pan."

The show will also introduce the Western-style katsuhayashi, which was eaten by seven-time shogi champion Fujii Souta before a match, and local gourmet highly recommended by Numazu-born actor Isomura Hayato. Numazu is a mecca for Kinnikuman and Love Livers, and many fans visit the area, so the show will cover that as well.

The guests will be Isomura Hayato and comedy duo "Okazu Club."
