It has been announced that musician Tamio Okuda's 30th anniversary live concert "59-60" to be held on October 26th and 27th at Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumida Ward, Tokyo) to celebrate his solo career will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW for two consecutive months starting in November.

Okuda released the single "Ai no Tame ni" in 1994, the year after his rock band Unicorn broke up, and began his solo career in earnest. Unicorn reformed in 2009, but Okuda continues to pursue a wide range of musical activities, including band, solo, and production.

The title of the commemorative live concert at Ryogoku Kokugikan, "59-60," is a play on his current age "59" and his "60th birthday" next year, in comparison to the albums "29" and "30" released in 1995. The first day will be an acoustic performance, and the second day will be a band set. WOWOW will broadcast and stream the two-day concert as a special feature for two consecutive months.

The first day of the concert will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 2:15 pm on November 23rd under the title "Okuda Tamio Solo 30th Anniversary Live '59-60' Hitori Matatabi Special @ Ryogoku Kokugikan". The solo guitar live "Hitori Matatabi" has been held all over Japan, including at the World Heritage site of Itsukushima Shrine. This time, Okuda Tamio will perform at Ryogoku Kokugikan for the first time under his name, and a special performance unique to the sacred ground of sumo is planned.

The second day will be broadcast and streamed in December under the title "Okuda Tamio Solo 30th Anniversary Live '59-60' GOZ LIVE AT RYOGOKU KOKUGIKAN". The band "GOZ", which released his solo single "Ai no Tame ni" in 1994, will reunite and perform a live show with a band set, completely different from the first day's solo guitar live.
