The NHK morning drama series "Omusubi" starring Hashimoto Kanna will air its third week, "What is a dream?" on the 13th episode on October 16th.
Yui (Hashimoto) is being harassed by the gals of the Hakata Gal Alliance, and her childhood friend Yota (Sugao Araki) is worried and tries to keep an eye on her.
Meanwhile, calligraphy club member Emi (Nakamura Moriri) tells Yui that Kazami-senpai (Matsumoto Reo) was talking to the club president about his ideal type of woman, and says that it sounded just like she was talking about Yui.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with her "gal spirit" of valuing her individuality at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate."
