Bandai Spirits' plastic model of Mashin Souzouden Wataru, the new TV anime based on the popular anime series Mashin Hero Wataru, was on display at the 62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show, a model exhibition being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo).

The Ryujinmaru plastic model, which will be released in December, uses the same frame as the series, which allows parts to be separated for each body part, and can be played with in combination with other Mashin. Weapons can be attached to the back using joint parts. The head and Toryuuken sword are reproduced in a metallic gold molding color. The price is 1,650 yen. Plastic models of Kirinmaru, Fuujinmaru, Tenshomaru, and Jugomaru were also on display.

Mashhin Souzouden Wataru is said to be part of the Wataru series aimed at a "new generation," and the main character, Hoshibe Wataru, a fourth-grade elementary school student, will appear as a YouTuber aiming to become a superstar. Together with his partner Ryujinmaru, Wataru will embark on a buzzworthy adventure and battle in Chubukai, a parallel world of floating blocks. Tamura Mutsumi will play Wataru, Sugita Tomokazu will play Ryujinmaru, and Tanezaki Atsumi will play Amabe Kakeru, Konishi Katsuyuki will play Ofurain, Umezawa Megu will play Maro, and Kugimiya Rie will play Ryunryun. The series will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from January 2025.

The 62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show will be open to related parties on October 11th, with the general public on the 12th and 13th. Tickets are 1,200 yen on the day and 1,000 yen in advance. Free for junior high school students and younger.
