It has been announced that three episodes of the anime series "Violet Evergarden" produced by Kyoto Animation will be broadcast on BS Shochiku Tokyu (BS260 channel, free broadcast) for three consecutive nights starting from October 24th. Titled "Violet Evergarden Series All-at-once Broadcast," the show will air "Violet Evergarden Special Edition," a re-edited version of all 13 episodes of the TV anime, from 8pm on October 24th, "Violet Evergarden: Gaiden - Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll," the movie version released in 2019, from 8pm on the 25th, and "Violet Evergarden the Movie," the movie version released in 2020, from 9pm on the 26th. This will be the first time that all three episodes will be broadcast on the free BS channel.

Ishikawa Yui, who plays the main character Violet Evergarden, commented, "The TV anime aired in 2018. More than five years have passed since then, but even now, many people still tell me, 'I love Violet Evergarden,' and I really feel that it has become a work that is loved by many people. I am happy that the TV anime, side story, and movie will be broadcast together. Please watch Violet grow up. And I hope that the feelings that were put into the work will reach even more people. Please look forward to the broadcast." Daisuke Namikawa, who plays Gilbert Bougainvillea, said, "I'm very happy that all three works will be broadcast at once. Those who have already seen them will remember that feeling and cry, and those who are watching for the first time will be shocked and cry. It's such a wonderful work. I remember how passionate the staff and cast were during production, and how much they put into the work. When it was first released, I received a lot of feedback from people. It's a masterpiece that touches the hearts of people of all ages, men and women, and will remain forever. I hope you will enjoy the work while feeling the meaning of 'I love you.'"

"Violet Evergarden" is based on a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase, which won the Grand Prize at the 5th Kyoto Animation Awards. The story is about Violet Evergarden, who once fought as a soldier, becoming an automaton doll that can understand the thoughts of her clients and put them into words, and coming into contact with the various emotions of various clients and understanding people's hearts. The TV anime aired from January to April 2018.
