It has been announced that a plastic model of the L-Gaim from the popular anime Heavy Metal L-Gaim, which was popular mainly in the 1980s, called "HG 1/144 L-Gaim [Special Coating]" (Bandai Spirits), will be released. The plastic model has a glossy white plating and is priced at 5,830 yen. Reservations will be accepted from noon on October 13th on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, Premium Bandai. It is scheduled to be shipped in January 2025.
The model was exhibited at the 62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show, a model exhibition being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo).
The 62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show is open to related parties on October 11th, with the general public on the 12th and 13th. Tickets are 1,200 yen for same-day tickets and 1,000 yen for advance tickets. Free for junior high school students and younger.
