It was announced on October 11th that Asahi Productions, an animation production company that has worked on "The Monster of Ars" and other works, and Pierrot, an animation production company known for "Yu Yu Hakusho" and "Mr. Osomatsu", have signed a business partnership agreement. The purpose is to strengthen the system for stable production of high-quality works.
Since around 2015, the number of TV anime titles produced has fluctuated to about 300 per year, and with each passing year, viewers are demanding high-quality works using more advanced technology. With Asahi Productions' accumulated know-how and advanced technical and comprehensive capabilities, especially in filming and CG, and Pierrot's production capabilities as a prime contractor for long-running anime works for many years, the two companies have agreed to enter into a business partnership with the aim of establishing a system for stable production of higher quality works by utilizing the strengths of both companies.
The two companies will aim to achieve further growth by promoting joint projects and sharing resources, including human resources.
