Luri (Mirichiam), a member of the Hakata Gals Union (Hagaren), is surrounded by men while wandering around Tenjin in the middle of the night and is taken into custody by a police officer who arrives. The next morning, Yui (Hashimoto) is sorting produce with Masato (Kitamura Yukiya) and Aiko (Aso Kumiko) when she receives an email from Luri.
After reading the email, Yui hesitates about what to say to Masato, who is there with her.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with a "gal spirit" that values being true to herself at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Shojiki Real Estate," among others.
