"Oshi no Ko" is a popular manga written by Akasaka Aka, who wrote "Kaguya-sama: Love is War", and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, who has also written "Scum's Wish", and began serialization in "Weekly Young Jump" in April 2020. It depicts the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The twin sister Ruby enters the entertainment industry, admiring her mother, while the older brother Aqua vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have assisted in Ai's murder. The second season of the TV anime has been airing since July.
