H. -About the movement of the Earth-:The TV anime will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons, totaling 25 episodes, with new visuals featuring Rafal, Badeni, Jorenta, and Okuji, who put their lives and beliefs on the line to prove the heliocentric theory.

It has been announced that the TV anime "Chi. -About the Earth's Movement-", based on the manga by Uo Yutaka, which was also selected as the Manga Grand Prize winner of the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, will have a total of 25 episodes and will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons. The anime will be broadcast on NHK General TV every Saturday from October 5th at 11:45 pm. The first episode will be the first and second episodes broadcast consecutively.

A key visual was also released, showing Rafal observing the stars, while Badeni, Jolenta, and Okuji look up at the starry sky. The visual shows four people of different status, age, gender, and occupation, but who share the commonality of "being fascinated by the beauty of the heliocentric theory and devoting their lives and beliefs to proving it."

The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, it depicts people risking their lives to research the heretical theory of heliocentrism. Child prodigy Rafał declares that he will major in theology, which was considered the most important subject at the time, in order to live up to the expectations of those around him, but he is unable to abandon his passion for astronomy, which he has been passionate about for a long time. One day, Rafał meets Hubert, an enigmatic scholar who is researching a shocking "hypothesis" about the universe... This is the story.

The anime will be produced by Madhouse, which also produced "Summer Wars." Sakamoto Maaya will play Rafał, a child prodigy who has been allowed to skip a grade and enter university, Tsuda Kenjiro will play Novak, the examiner for heresy, and Hayami Sho will play the mysterious scholar Hubert.
