On Sunday, Yui (Hashimoto Kanna) arrives at Fukuhaku Bridge to meet her calligraphy club senior Kazami (Matsumoto Reo), whom she admires, to go to an exhibition.
Yui is also excited by Kazami's casual clothes, but on the way to the exhibition with her, she spots Suzurin (Okamoto Natsumi), a gal from Fullmetal Alchemist, handing out tissues. Yui walks away hiding from Kazami so as not to be found. Meanwhile, Suzurin starts to stagger and crouches down on the spot.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with a "gal spirit" that values being true to herself at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Shojiki Real Estate," among others.
