Ano-chan's first program, "Ano Channel" (TV Asahi, Monday midnight 12:45, excluding some regions), which ended its broadcast in October 2021, will be "revived" on terrestrial TV for the first time in about three years from late night on September 30th.
"Ano Channel" started in October 2020 as a program featuring Ano-chan, who is active not only as a talent but also as an artist (under the name ano) and actor. Ano-chan invites popular celebrities as guests and challenges various projects in a free and relaxed atmosphere, which has been well received.
After the program ended, it has been distributed every other Thursday on TV Asahi's official YouTube channel "Video, Hajimemashita." It became a popular content with a total of over 51 million views, including a project where he went for a drive with Soshina from the comedy duo Shimofuri Myojo.
The first guest is Tetsuro Degawa, a senior in the entertainment industry who has just turned 60. Ano-chan, who says that "I don't think young people know much about what kind of person Degawa-san is," introduces Degawa-san's life from his own perspective.
However, from the very start, Ano-chan's laid-back and free-spirited approach to the show has Degawa-san worried, asking, "Is it okay...?" The program also shows footage of Degawa-san's proposal 20 years ago, and Ano-chan gives a glimpse behind the scenes.
In front of the two of them are "piping hot oden" and "wasabi sushi." As Degawa-san leans forward as if to say that it's finally time for him to show off his skills, Ano-chan also says, "I want to practice too." Degawa-san is delighted by the unexpected reaction, but Ano-chan, who is trying hot oden for the first time, creates an "incredible miracle."
Ano-chan's new theme "Bubble Me Face," written specifically for the revival of "Ano Channel" on terrestrial television, will also be unveiled at the opening of tonight's broadcast.
