"Omusubi" is an NHK morning drama series starring actress Hashimoto Kanna that will begin airing on September 30th in the second half of 2024. Visuals of the giant rice ball made by the Yoneda family, the "strongest family" of six people from three generations, including Yoneda Yui played by Hashimoto, have been released.

The visual shows Naka Riisa, Asou Kumiko, Miyazaki Yoshiko, Kitamura Yukiya, and Matsudaira Ken forming a giant rice ball, with Hashimoto making a heart symbol in the center. The visual was created by Oshima Keiichiro, who also designed the main visual and title logo. The pose for the giant rice ball was choreographed by dancer TAKAHIRO, who has also worked as a backup dancer for Madonna, and TAKAHIRO also choreographed the pose for the visual of Hashimoto Kanna dressed as a nutritionist.

Oshima commented, "The whole family worked together to make a pose that looks like a single rice ball. The shape of the rice ball varies depending on who is making it. It expresses the Yoneda family's unique family structure and their feelings of support for Yui."

TAKAHIRO said, "The choreography for the family poster visual was based on the theme of 'The filling of the rice ball is sincerity.' It represents people who, like rice, have their own unique personalities, recognizing each other and bonding their feelings. The main visual for Yui is simple, but we put a lot of attention into even the smallest angles so that the heart can be gently conveyed to the person in front of you at the same eye level. We hope that it will deliver nourishment to the heart."
